Background and Discussion:
Harris County Public Health (HCPH) requires ongoing biomedical equipment maintenance services to support the safe and continuous operation of medical devices used across its clinical facilities. These services include routine preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and equipment support necessary to meet operational needs, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory standards. HCPH currently utilizes Huckeye Health Staffing, SPBS, Inc., and Niverco Biomedical Services to provide these services. Renewing contracts with these three vendors will allow HCPH to continue receiving uninterrupted maintenance and repair support, maintain compliance requirements, and ensure biomedical equipment critical to patient care remains operational.
