Background and Discussion:
The County engaged Entech Civil Engineers, Inc. to study and design the project in 2015 and now seeks Entech Civil Engineers, Inc. to assist and advise the County during project construction. The goal of the project is to upgrade North Eldridge Parkway from Spring Cypress Road to Gregson Road from 2-lane asphalt roadway to a standard 4-lane concrete boulevard, in 100-foot right-of-way, with 32-foot raised medians and an underground storm sewer system.
Expected Impact:
Executing the agreement will allow the firm to proceed with the construction support to upgrade North Eldridge Parkway from Spring Cypress Road to Gregson Road.
Alternative Options:
The alternative is to not execute the agreement. If no action is taken, the project may experience delays in construction staking, review of submittals and RFI's, as well as traffic control plans as required by the agreement.
