Background and Discussion:
The grant funds will be used to reimburse Harris County for the cost of providing the Title IV-E eligible goods
and services, such as clothing vouchers, foster care maintenance, and administrative expenditures. The contract is entered under DFPS' statutory authority in Texas Human Resources Code Section 40.056 and Texas Government Code Chapter 791. This contract starts on October 1, 2025, and ends on September 30,2032, and can be renewed, extended, or terminated as provided for in this contract.
