Request for approval to continue the use of a County credit card that is used for meal purchases to support the Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management during activations, emergency situations, various events and meetings in an amount not to exceed $150,000.

Background and Discussion:
The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management has been using a county credit card for food purchases since 2010. During activations of our Emergency Operations Center (EOC), we are feeding hundreds of county employees and external partners 3-4 meals a day at a cost that can possibly exceed $10,000/meal.
