Background and Discussion:
This project is a component of the Greens Bayou Mid Reach project intended to mitigate flooding in the watershed. Construction of the Lauder SWDB - Phase 1 was completed in February 2022 under Project ID P500-06-00-E005 and construction of Lauder SWDB - Phase 2, Compartment 1 was completed in March 2025 under Project ID P500-06-00-E006. This project includes construction of the Lauder SWDB - Phase 2, Compartment 2 with the project site being approximately 48 acres of land adjacent to the Greens Bayou. The proposed Compartment 2 will be connected to the existing Compartment 1 with a 72-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) connector pipe through the Sunoco easement.
