Background and Discussion:
Turf establishment contracts are utilized to support the construction efforts of Harris County Flood Control District. By providing seeding and other vegetation promotion cultural practices following construction, the District can produce a resilient perennial stand of grass, that helps reduce erosion, and fulfills permit requirements. This contract is essential for executing the infrastructure work mandated by the 'Maintenance Matters' Proposition passed in November 2024.

Expected Impact:
Awarding this contract will allow the District to provide the services needed to support construction and repair projects throughout Harris County. These services include seeding, fertilization, hydromulch applications, soil amendment applications, and mowing of channels and basins.
