Background and Discussion:
To provide additional turnkey license plate reader (LPR) services with a minimum distance between LRP cameras, Real-Time GIS mapping, enhancing public safety for Harris County residents. The sound detection system is capable of detecting various sounds including gunshots, screening tires and glass breaking in order to respond to illegal activity.
