Background and Discussion:
On October 25, 2016, the County entered into an agreement with Contractor to provide networkable XRay/
Electromagnetic security scanners and all necessary peripherals and equipment to cover building
entrances at multiple security-sensitive locations. Universal Services now desires to enter into a sole source
agreement for the purpose of providing repair and maintenance services of the equipment.
Expected Impact:
Continued maintenance and support of equipment used at various security-sensitive locations throughout
Harris County.
