Background and Discussion:
The construction of the sidewalk will improve pedestrian safety in the area. This project consists of design and construction of 5' sidewalks within MUD 500. The MUD will design, obtain permits, and construct the sidewalk. The County will be a funding partner for the project.

Expected Impact:
This project will improve pedestrian safety in the area and close gaps between existing sidewalks.

Alternative Options:
The alternative is not to construct the sidewalk, and the pedestrian accessibility will remain unchanged.
