Background and Discussion: The Office of the County Engineer is requesting approval of $158,000,000 for the Preliminary Investment Memo for the Riverside Health and Safety Complex, submitted at the request of Commissioner Precinct 1. The Riverside Health and Safety Complex will be occupied by Harris County Public Health and a division of the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Additionally, approval is requested for $1,500,000 in commercial paper funding for the Harris County Engineering Department for professional architecture and engineering services (UPIN 24035MF36Q01).
On March 13, 2018, Commissioners Court authorized the purchase of Riverside General Hospital located at 3204 Ennis Street, Houston, Texas 77004.
