Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct 4 is hosting its Fourth Annual Iftar for 350 Precinct 4 constituents on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at GSH Event Center. The purpose of the gathering is to bring awareness to the significance of the month of Ramadan and to create a space for the community to break their fast at sunset. Last year, we welcomed approximately 250 constituents, and this year we look forward to growing attendance to 350.
Expected Impact:
This will provide an accessible and central event location that can accommodate 350 constituents. The event will serve as an educational opportunity for community members unfamiliar with Ramadan.
