Background and Discussion:
Infrastructure regulated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) or a municipality contains materials that can potentially contaminate the environment. Regularly scheduled and emergency cleaning and maintenance of this infrastructure involves removal of water and waste products. Removal and disposal of this waste product requires that services be performed by a licensed waste hauler and disposal is tracked by a manifest.

Expected Impact:
Safely and legally dispose of water and other waste products collected by sewer infrastructure and other regulated facilities.

Alternative Options:
In-house personnel and equipment are not licensed by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality; therefore contract vendor is required.
