Background and Discussion:
Requesting approval for advertisement of a project seeking qualifications from qualified professional firm(s) to provide on-call Engineering Services for Maintenance Purposes in support of the Flood Control District. This infrastructure maintenance work will be executed as a result of the passage of the "Maintenance Matters" Proposition in November 2024.
Expected Impact:
Firms selected may be engaged across the project life cycle for Engineer of Record support from watershed-based planning, preliminary engineering services, project design and bidding to completion of construction. Project scopes may also include sub-stages and disciplines such as civil engineering, environmental review, property acquisition, surveying, geotechnical, utilities, hydraulics and hydrology, architectural landscape, etc. Scope of work may include owner's representative on collaborative delivery models, project management and/or technical services support.
