Background and Discussion:
The recommended alternative from a Cypress Creek Program Implementation Plan (K100-00-00-P007) helps to mitigate overland sheet flow, overbank flooding, insufficient drainage capacity, overflows from neighboring catchments, and tailwater influence from Sims Bayou. This agreement will provide preliminary engineering (PER), design, and construction phase services for North Eldridge Parkway and Cypress Park in Precinct 3. This project has been identified in the Cypress Creek Implementation Plan, and the PER associated with this project will determine the benefits and geometry for the proposed stormwater detention basin.
