Background and Discussion:
DEEO continues to host outreach events such as community-based meetings, outreach programs, conferences, and initiatives to reach the community and develop relationships for the Early Childhood Initiatives (ECI) programs. ECI will continue to expand outreach in the coming year and will require additional funds for light refreshments, food, and related items. The items will be purchased utilizing FLEX funding from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.

This approval will allow the opportunity for ECI to continue outreach events and expand opportunities to connect and engage with the community.
