The Property and Evidence Division received Initial Accreditation which reflects the high standards of accountability, transparency, and professionalism upheld daily by the Fire Marshal's Office.
The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office is the first Fire Marshal's Office in the nation-and the only current agency in the State of Texas-to earn this accreditation.
Expected Impact:
This accreditation strengthens the county's position in the justice system. For Harris County stakeholders, it provides independent validation that we manage evidence in accordance with the highest industry standards.
