Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct 3 has requested the Office of the County Engineer Design Services Public Works Support Group to manage the design and construction of new restrooms at Riley Chambers, Collins and Jesse Jones Parks. The existing facilities have significant ADA compliance issues, Air Circulation issues, and are not resilient and have issues with freezes. Ultimately the Precinct would like the buildings to have HVAC, resilient plumbing, and be ADA accessible.
Expected Impact:
Precinct 3 will be able to provide replacement restroom facilities at Riley Chambers, Collins and Jesse Jones Parks.
Alternative Options:
If contract award is not approved, Precinct 3 will have to find alternative options to install new restrooms at Riley Chambers, Collins and Jesse Jones Parks.
