Background and Discussion:
The City Wide Club of Houston, founded and led by the Woodard family, has provided warm home-cooked meals to people in need for 47 years. In 2025, they served over 30,000 meals on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve at the George R. Brown Convention Center to food-insecure individuals including families, seniors and veterans. They demonstrated resilience when a large portion of food was thrown out the day before the Christmas Eve food service event. City Wide rallied volunteers and the community so that no one who needed a warm meal went without one.

Expected Impact: The City Wide Club of Houston receives appreciation and recognition.
