Request for approval of a termination agreement with Harris County Commissioner Precinct 3 for Barrett Youth Enrichment Summer Camp 2026 funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds.

Background and Discussion:
On September 18, 2025, Commissioners Court approved a CDBG funded Agreement for the provision of summer enrichment days to eligible youth residing within the Harris County Service area using $60,000.00 in PY2025 CDBG funds. The services include but are not limited to math and literacy education; nature exposure; healthy lifestyle and physical activities; field trips and leadership trainings.
Both parties mutually agree to terminate the Agreement effective October 1, 2025, due to a determination that the project is not feasible.

The Termination to the Agreement will have no financial impact on the County.
