Background and Discussion:
The Harris County Transportation Master Plan (HCTMP) is a long-range planning document that serves as a guide for future transportation policies, programs, and projects for all unincorporated Harris County through 2050. The planning project addresses all parts of Harris County's complex transportation system, including capital, operating, and maintenance activities for all transportation modes. The deliverable for this project is a Transportation Plan with a Major Thoroughfare Plan, an Active Transportation Plan, and strategies and recommendations for implementation in a technical report for adoption at the Commissioners Court.
