Background and Discussion:
The October 16, 2025 Commissioners Court approved the advertisement for low bid construction contract. The construction contractor will provide services for the pavement surface replacement of SH 249 Tomball Tollway which is due for maintenance in the section that was installed in 2015. The existing surface is an asphalt Permeable Friction Course (PFC) which currently has a 5-8 year-life cycle.
Expected Impact:
Project will provide improved roadway conditions. Funding for this request will come from the Toll Road Authority.
