Background and Discussion:
On January 9, 2024, Commissioners Court approved an agreement for SentinelOne License, Maintenance, and Support for Harris County. SentinelOne is a core security platform and service used by HCUS to protect county assets, offering endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response, ransomware protection, managed detection and response, digital forensics, and incident response services. HCUS is now requesting approval to renew the agreement for the term January 9, 2026 through January 8, 2027.
Expected Impact:
Continued use and support of software that impacts HCUS ability to provide security services to hosts on the enterprise network. The MDR services supplement and enrich prevention and incident response capabilities.
