Background and Discussion:
Commissioners Court created the Harris County LGBTQIA+ Commission in June 2023 as an advisory board to the Court with a focus on recommendations to improve economic, social, health, and safety outcomes for LGBTQIA+ residents in Harris County. The Commission's nine Court-appointed members are tasked with selecting two additional commission members for positions 10 and 11.
