Background and Discussion:
The American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Houston Section would like to enter into an agreement with Precinct 4 to keep the roadside clear of garbage and other debris along Colonial Parkway. This agreement is part of the State of Texas's Adopt a State Highway program.

Expected Impact:
This agreement will ensure that the roadsides on one-mile stretch will remain free of litter.

Alternative Options:
If this agreement is not approved, it may result in the accumulation of litter along the one-mile stretch of roadside that would have to be maintained by County personnel.
