Background and Discussion:
The Department of Economic Equity & Opportunity requests to lease 10 spaces in the 1301 Main Street (Green Street) Garage to supplement allotted parking in the 1111 Main Street Garage for employees. DEEO moved to 1010 Lamar in October, and we were allotted limited parking spaces in the attached garage. 1301 Main Street Garage was offered as an option to supplement the parking needed for employees. The approximate cost for fiscal year 2026 is $13,750 for the period of October 1, 2025 - September 30, 2026. The department will use general funds for this request.

Expected Impact:
There is no expected County impact, but this request does allow for in-person schedule flexibility for DEEO staff.

Alternative Options:
The Court could choose not to approve this request, however, DEEO will not be able to have staff on site as needed for compliance work and collaboration.
