Background and Discussion:
It is recommended that the Flood Control District be authorized to accept an amendment to the Federal Emergency Management Agency Legislative Pre-Disaster Mitigation (FEMA LPDM) Grant Award for the Meyergrove Stormwater Detention Basin project. This grant funding is available for this project in the FY22 Federal Budget and was submitted by US Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, representing the 7th District of Texas.
This grant amendment will extend the period of performance by one year to 9/12/2026 and continue to provide financial and technical assistance to the Flood Control District for the Meyergrove Stormwater Detention Basin project. The amendment extends the period of performance by 365 days with no change in funding.
