Background and Discussion:
In response to the destruction wrought by Hurricane Harvey that underscored critical shortages in Harris County's inventory of affordable homes, Harris County's Single-Family New Construction Program (SFNCP) matches individuals and families with opportunities to purchase new affordable homes in growing developments throughout the county.
Scope of work - Task Order 6: This phase of construction consists of the infrastructure development to support single-family affordable housing. This includes construction of roadways and sidewalks, Installation of sanitary sewer and storm systems, pavement improvements, construction of a lift station and detention ponds to serve East Aldine Estates in Precinct 2.
