Background and Discussion:
Request for approval to obtain PayScale as the vendor to provide a system for conducting salary analysis and creating/ maintaining job descriptions. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional (1) year periods and will not automatically renew.
Expected Impact:
It is important to attract and retain qualified personnel to provide services to the Harris County Toll Road Authority. The contract approval will allow HCTRA HR to utilize the PayScale, Inc. compensation database to market price jobs and conduct salary studies to provide competitive salary data in support of business units' compensation decisions. Furthermore, the software will allow for the creation and maintenance of current and relevant job descriptions for each position and storage in an online centralized depository.
