Background and Discussion:
Request to update the funding source of three positions (Nuisance Abatement Coordinator, Finance Reporting Specialist, Nuisance Abatement Specialist) from the ARPA NNA Grant (2651) to the General Fund (1000). These changes will allow our agency to continue addressing issues such as unsafe or abandoned and unsafe structures, illegal dumping, overgrown lots, and other environmental hazards. The program reduces fire risks, prevents rodent and mosquito infestations, and limits crime associated with neglected properties.

Expected Impact:
Updating this position funding source is essential to ensure uninterrupted operations and the ability to respond effectively to community needs. As program demands grow-such as increased complaints, rising cleanup costs, or expanded enforcement efforts-aligning the funding source with current workloads allows the county to maintain staffing, resources, and service levels.
