Background and Discussion:

This project is located at 1414 Wirt Rd Houston, TX 77055. This project is aimed at upgrading the HVAC system at Trini Mendenhall Community Center, for effective ventilation, temperature and humidity control. This change in contract is for onboarding of Able Fire, the fire controls subcontractor under Brandt's contract, for effective coordination of fire control activities on this project. As stated in the notes section of the drawings, the contractor is responsible for fire controls and acquiring the necessary permits for this project.

Expected Impact:

Changes allow the effective coordination of activities on site.

Alternative Options:

Should we not move forward with this change order, this project will be at risk due to lack of fire controls.
