Background and Discussion:
Harris County Sheriff's Office currently occupies 3,138 square feet of space at 260 North Sam Houston Parkway, Suite 350, Houston, Texas 77060 and need extra space to accommodate growth within the Behavioral Health Division. The new space 15710 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Suite 675, Houston, TX 77032 will have approximately 7,609 square feet in a much more efficient space.
Expected Impact:
Through the lease agreement, Harris County Sheriff's Office will be able to provide the Harris County Sheriff's Office with additional services within the Behavioral Health Division.
Alternative Options:
There is currently no space available within Harris County owned buildings for Harris County Sheriff's office use due to confidentiality.
