Background and Discussion:
Payroll correction for Joseph Johnson, EIN 109893
Due to an administrative error in processing step increases, Deputy Johnson did not receive their correct pay rate at the appropriate time. The employee became eligible for his step increase in December of 2024. Due to COLA increases in January of 2025, the step increases were not processed until February 8th, 2025.
Consequently, Deputy Johnson was paid at the incorrect hourly rate for 11 pay periods. We are requesting a retroactive pay rate correction for the period of February 8th, 2025, through June 28th, 2025, to compensate for the missed step increase.
The total back pay is $1,047.20
