Background and Discussion:
Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) provides services to youth transitioning out from foster care. PAL 204 is
dedicated to Life Skills Training and Assessment Services. This grant was already awarded at the 10/16 Commissioner's Court (Agenda Item #291), but the program has requested that the budget narrative, which was not included with the original submission, to be included with the packet
Expected Impact:
Current foster youth enrolled in Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) services through the HAY Center will receive
Casey Life Skills Assessments and up to 30 hours of Life Skills Training. These assessments and training will aid
in their transition to adulthood.
