Background and Discussion:
On December 2, 2023, Harris County Public Health (HCPH) launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a
Technical Assistance (TA) consultant to provide strategic guidance and support to community-based
organizations (CBOs) in Harris County selected for our Capacity Strengthening Program (CSP). This program, funded by a $25.1 million Public Health Infrastructure Grant from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, provides CBOs with training, workshops, peer learning opportunities, and grants to enhance their organizational capacity and effectiveness in serving Harris County residents. Following a competitive selection process, HCPH awarded the TA provider contract to VESTEDin (tm) AGING Consulting Group, LLC in May 2024.
