Request by the Office of County Administration for an Executive Session for discussion and reappointment of Rufi Natarajan, a nominee from the Commissioner of Precinct 4, to the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number 01 (Saint George Place TIRZ 01) Board, Position 6, for a term beginning January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2027.

Background and Discussion:
The County can appoint one Director to the TIRZ 01 Board as a result of the Court's approval of an interlocal agreement between the county, the City of Houston, TIRZ 1, and the Saint George Redevelopment Authority. Since TIRZ 01 is largely within the boundaries of Precinct 4, the commissioner of that precinct may nominate a candidate for the position as provided in the adopted Boards and Commissions Uniform Board Policies and Procedures, Section 8, D. Appointment Process.
