Background and Discussion:
On March 26, 2024, Commissioners Court approved the contract award on the basis of best proposal meeting requirements to The Gonzalez Group, LP for the construction of a new Sam Houston East EZ TAG Store located at 3343 East Sam Houston Parkway South, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
On October 10, 2023, Commissioners Court approved a request for approval for advertisement to obtain construction bids for the Sam Houston East EZ TAG Store Construction located at 3343 East Sam Houston Parkway South, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
This project will replace a leased facility that has limited parking with a modern facility that will provide
improved customer experience while ensuring facilities are fully functional and safe for staff. This is better
aligned with HCTRA's current and future needs and with the County's Priority Outcomes. HCTRA strives to
maintain its physical infrastructure in superior condition for the public.
