Background and Discussion:
To comply with Sec. 2054.5191 of the Texas Government Code, Human Resources & Talent, in
coordination with Universal Services, administered the 2025 Cybersecurity Training Program for Harris County
employees. As required by the statute, Human Resources & Talent submitted a report on the
completion of the training program to the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and coordinated
with the Auditor's Office to conduct an audit to ensure compliance.
