Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct 4 seeks to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Autism Moms of Houston, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families and caregivers of individuals with autism. Through this MOU, Autism Moms of Houston will provide free educational workshops, sensory-friendly pop-up experiences, community meetups, resource fairs, and other events focused on living with and supporting loved ones with autism.
All programming will be offered at Precinct 4 community centers and similar facilities, with no cost incurred by the County.
