Background and Discussion:
To accomplish the objectives of the Violent Crimes Task Force, Sheriff's Office personnel will identify and target for prosecution individuals and criminal enterprise groups responsible for violating state and/or federal law, as well as pursue dangerous fugitives where there is or may be a federal investigative interest.
Expected Impact:
The agreement will expand the Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes Task Force (VCTF) to enhance the effectiveness of federal/state/local law enforcement resources through well-coordinated investigations, seeking the most effective investigative and prosecutorial avenues to conduct and incarcerate dangerous offenders.
