Expected Impact:
This equipment would be used to conduct water quality monitoring and assessment, to improve surface water quality in the Harris County region. It is useful to have a second set of weights for backup, that way when one set goes out to Allometrics for calibration, the PCS lab has the second set to use and minimize delays.
Alternative Options:
If the donations are denied, Pollution Control will not be able to accept them from H-GAC, which can result in delays and missed hold times. This equipment is useful for the water quality monitoring we conduct as participants in the Clean Rivers Program.
