Background and Discussion:
HCPL proposes adding five outdoor remote lockers across District 7. The district has been evaluated and there are several locations not currently served by any library system. These outdoor lockers, which are rated for wind, rain, and heat, would provide constituents with the opportunity to access library materials in convenient locations.
Expected Impact:
These lockers allow residents to access library services without the capital expense of adding physical building. They are a cost-effective way to bring libraries to locations without them.
