Background and Discussion:
META Planning & Design is developing the Cedar Pointe subdivision in the Crosby area and is requesting the following Major Thoroughfare amendments to the Interim-MTFP as part of the development:
? Euell Road from Bohemian Hall Road to Crosby Freeway - Reclassify to a Minor Collector
? Lindstrom Road from Runneburg Road. to Euell Road - Remove from MTFP
Cedar Pointe subdivision is in the unincorporated portion of the county near Crosby and is not in the City of Houston's Extra-territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). Any amendments to the MTFP are subject to the County's review and approval. As part of the amendment process, adjacent property owners were notified of the proposed amendment, open house, and public hearing to provide comments. An open house meeting was held to share information on October 2, 2025. Public hearing is being held on October 16, 2025. Commissioners Court action is anticipated on October 30, 2025.
