Background and Discussion:
This change in contract is needed to complete the construction scope for this project. The Yale Stormwater Detention Basin project includes a wet bottom detention basin with an inflow side weir and flap gate outfall pipe, adjacent to E101-00-00 (Little White Oak Bayou). The Project is located southeast of the intersection at W. Tidwell Road and Yale Street, in the White Oak Bayou Watershed. The purpose of this contract change is to reconcile estimated quantities with actual project requirements. The change increases the underestimated quantities for Remove and Dispose of Concrete Rubble and Structures (02120-03), All Pipes (02120-04), and Driveways and Sidewalks (02120-26). Additionally, the quantity of Concrete Box Inlets (02632-50), which are no longer required for construction, is being deducted to offset the associated cost.
