Background and Discussion:
Furniture such as storage, art, chairs, and tables for the private waiting areas that children and families use while waiting for meetings, before testifying, and awaiting verdicts. The current furniture and d?cor are in a deteriorated state and do not provide the level of care we would like to have available to the families and survivors of domestic violence. Through coordination with Gallery Furniture, the District Attorney's Office would be grateful to accept a donation. The Safe Haven Spaces (2nd Floor) will receive seating arrangements, tables, storage and d?cor.
Expected Impact:
The donation of new furniture and supplies will greatly improve the environment for families and survivors of domestic violence, providing them with a more comfortable and supportive space while they wait for services. This will be a continuation of support received for interest in providing additional resources to victims and their families. Gallery Furniture's contribution will enhance the overall experience for those utilizing these spaces, fostering a sense of dignity, care, and respect during often difficult times.
