Background and Discussion:
On April 23, 2024, Commissioners Court executed an Interlocal agreement with Fort Bend County to reimburse costs for salary and benefits associated with the hiring and employment of one investigator in the amount of $125,000 from the FY2024 TAG Center grant award.

The grantor has approved an amendment to increase the Fort Bend Award by $48,000 through the current FY25 TAG Center grant award period ending August 31, 2025. This request is to amend the terms of the Master Agreement to reflect the extension of the award period and increase the Fort Bend Award by $48,000.

Expected Impact:
The Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) grant program for local governments administered by the Office of Public Safety through the Office of the Texas Governor, supports regional, multidisciplinary approaches to combat gang violence through the coordination of gang prevention, intervention, and suppression activities across the state.
