Background and Discussion:
On September 19, 2024 Commissioners Court approved the execution of a Stop Gap Agreement with Zions Bancoporation, N.A. dba Amegy Bank (Amegy) for the period of September 19, 2024 through September 18, 2025. The original agreement provides for a transition period until such time a new bank can be completely operational not to extend more than 120 days.
Court approval of the First Amendment will allow for the completion of the procurement process and a transition period following Commissioners Court approval on July 30, 2025 to advertise for banking services to meet HCTRA needs.
Expected Impact:
Approval of the First Amendment to the Stop Gap Agreement will allow HCTRA to continue to provide reliable back-office system support for tolling services.
