Background and Discussion: Request the approval for a contract award for the Supply of Various Trees for the Harris County Flood Control District to the best low bid, High Branch, Inc. and the second low bid, Magnolia Gardens Nursery. The Harris County Flood Control District plants between 12,000 and 15,000 trees annually as a part of its Forest Establishment Program. A reliable and consistent source of trees is needed to support the program. These services will provide support for infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of the "Maintenance Matters" Proposition in November 2024.
