Background and Discussion:
Connective, Inc. is a Houston-based nonprofits that collects information through a Disaster Damage Assessment and Community Needs Survey after a disaster. This survey collects community-reported impacts and unmet needs, focusing on immediate needs, such as housing, food insecurity, medical needs, and access to recovery services.
The data collected from consenting residents will be shared with the Harris County Office of Emergency Management, Engineering Department, Flood Control District, Office of County Administration, and Housing and Community Develop Department to provide visibility on where damages are located, types of impacts, and current and perceived future needs of residents.
Expected Impact:
