Background and Discussion:
The Harris County Fair & Rodeo Pageant & Royalty Contest celebrates individuals who best embodies the spirit of the Fair-those who exemplify outstanding personality, intelligence, beauty, and grace. Winners crowned as Queen and King will represent the Harris County Fair & Rodeo throughout their reign, attending various official events and supporting Fair initiatives as needed. As ambassadors, they will uphold and promote the values and mission of the Fair in all their endeavors.

All proceeds from the Pageant & Royalty Contest go directly toward scholarships awarded to the crowned Queen and King. These scholarships, presented each July by the Harris County Fair & Rodeo Scholarship Committee, may be applied to the college of the recipient's choice.
