Background and Discussion:
On Friday, August 8, 2025, Precinct 4 charter buses will transport 40 constituents to the YES Camp in Livingston, Texas, and returning them home on Sunday, August 10, 2025. The pickup location is 6588 Corporate Dr., Suite 368, Houston, TX 77036, and the drop-off location is 500 Lazy Ln., Livingston, TX 77351. The trip is sponsored by the Institute for Civic Education in Vietnam.

Expected Impact:
The Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) Camp is organized to address the lack of civic engagement and civic leadership among youths and young adults in Asian American organizations across Houston. The Y.E.S. Camp is a transformative, 3-day camp that empowers our next generation of leaders in the Greater Houston area. Alternative Options:
Without court approval, constituents may need to rely on personal transportation, which could limit participation-particularly for underserved communities.
